Similar to Kym’s slide 9 but not really the “Conclusion” yet.

    A: Speaking: <Some variation/adaptation of:
    - GS is a milestone but not an end in itself
    - Longer term: Many phases and generations
    - Sustained, fully integrated into church life and
culture so no longer a separate “program”
    - Launching pad for UUCC expanded leadership role on environmental issues (beacon of liberal religion)
    - Interfaith and advocacy coalitions for maximum impact

N: Visual/Other: More concise version of bullets above? (to reinforce spoken word)

The Portland experience will be compelling here.

This is perhaps a place to re-emphasize the value of personal/family transformation as a starting point in the “greening” process. The kind of creative initiatives and tangible results that energized families can produce (within GS framework) will lead to the openings for collaboration and perhaps leadership that can in turn yield the “beaconhood” role we aspire to.
