A: Speaking: Here I think we could start with an “It’s not easy being green reference” (maybe Kermit lives after all!), but then say “Fortunately, through our research, we have identified a comprehensive, integrated approach that not only provides a focused and flexible framework for organizing and building on our engagement, but does so in a way that fully embraces and embodies UU principles: Green Sanctuary.
The talking points briefly introduce the GS model/purpose and emphasize how GS creates the opportunity to leverage the existing strengths and resources within the congregation so that everyone can begin to engage at the individual level. Key selling point: GS provides effective means to implement, at a practical level, a vision of environmental social justice that EVERYONE can be a part of (from RE kids to seniors to environmental engineers . . .)
B. Visual/Other: In addition to a visual that shows the GS logo, whoever delivers this portion of the presentation could hold up the GS manual as a an exhibit/prop, just to lend a “tangible” element to the discussion]
